    Our story

    Born on a mission trip.
    Built for the music.

Guatemala Summer Records started with a spark during a 2022 mission trip to rural Guatemala. Our founder, Jaredith Mize, came home with a calling: put a love of music and a craft for marketing to work for something bigger.

We back artists who make positive, impactful music, from Christian metalcore to post-grunge and hard rock, and we stay partners for the whole journey. And because the label was born in Guatemala, a portion of our profits supports orphans in impoverished communities there.
